Yes, I am a Bush Babe .

My beloved President George W. Bush has won another 4 years in office. I'm floored. I stayed up until 1:00 in the morning watching election coverage. God bless Ohio. It felt good to know that people cared about where are country is going. One poll said that more Americans voted based on moral issues than the economy. A first ever for our country.

I don't understand how Bush is perceived as the more "moral" of the two candidates. If he's so moral, where is the crackdown on corporate fraud so prevalent during his first term? They frauded investors out of BILLIONS, with a "B". Oh, thats right, most of those guys in those corporations are Bush's friends and biggest campaign contributors. Can't crackdown on them.

Since when is relaxing environmental laws so that many of these same corporations are free to tarnish our environment "moral"?

Since when is letting energy companies write our nations' energy policy "moral"? This is actually called a CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Look it up.

But the biggest reason 54 million people voted against Bush...Since when is sending thousands of troops into danger for questionable reasons "moral"? Not to mention the 100,000+ Iraqis that are dead, most of which are civilians. If you're religious AT ALL, war is the worst thing a country can possibly do. It should be an absoute last resort. Not a means for Halliburton to get a big contract.

I guess I just don't have the same "moral values" as President Bush.

Dear Anonymous, I ask you this... If Bush is as bad as you seem to think he is...Why was he voted in for a second term?

There are many pieces of the political puzzle that do not fit anywhere in this past Presidential puzzle.Morality may have been a reason that the exit gave for why those who voted as they did,but really it is quite a relative topic. The topics that Anonymous referred to were all matters of morality as it relates to the public sphere of oil and energy companies and the war in Iraq. The morality issues on which the voters who were polled in the exit polls weren't talking about these matters as far as the moral question was concerned .Somehow matters of private morality, and the promotion of them from the Oval office has become one of the key reason why a president gets voted into office. What should we basing such decisions on?The economy?Morality?Maybe lets give up on all these tough decisions, and just vote for whoever has the best hair...or do we do that already?
